Solo Piano

I have been playing the piano since 3 years of age, started classical piano lessons at 5, gave my first recital at 9 and have never stopped. I have played with and have been inspired by many musicians and artists of all styles. From my earliest memories, I can play every song, piece or composition I heard. When I do a solo gig, concert or nightclub the repertoire runs from obscure jazz and blues tunes to classical to material from the 30s & 40s to today including my own compositions and songs of artists I’ve played with and the accompanying stories. And I do have a lot of stories and memories due to working with Sonny & Cher, Joan Armatrading, Dolly Parton, Eric Burdon, Linda Ronstadt, Delbert McClinton, Stephen Bruton and the list goes on and on. Songs from Dave Brubeck, Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, Alan Toussaint may pop up as well as Chopin, Sidney Bechet, Hoagie Charmichal, Gershwin, Ray Charles, jazz, blues and many points in between. I have a very eclectic taste so anything could happen… I look forward to taking everyone on a musical journey with every performance.
